We're a start-up. We're a small business.

For over 7 years, Colin Ferrier has been looking into the possibility of setting up his own company to support small and medium sized businesses which is where his passion lies. Colin was born and bred in North Berwick, his family having been here since the 1950's. Although he spent 10years away from North Berwick, he returned to set up home with his wife and now has two boys.

After a career initially with Coopers & Lybrand in Aberdeen he then worked for a number of SME's, global blue chip companies and latterly in Financial Services, Colin now supports companies across the UK as a freelance finance director and provides an outsourced finance function to varying sized businesses in diverse industries.

Whether you're a tradesperson, an artist, a Life sciences start-up, a mature business with a £50m turnover or you simply want a second opinion on something, we are here for you and would be delighted to support you.

COLIN FERRIER

Director

After training with Coopers & Lybrand in Aberdeen, Colin held Head of Finance roles in the sports, media, hotel, energy and latterly Financial Services Sectors. He has been non-Exec Finance Director for Snowsport Scotland and is currently non-Exec Finance Director for the Royal Yachting Association in Scotland. He is a former mentor for the E-Spark scheme and Tutor at Heriot Watt University. Colin's main passion is his family and when he's not with them he loves sailing.

SCOTT CHRISTIE

Consultant

Scott qualified as a CA with Coopers & Lybrand in London and has had a successful business career spanning 30 years including with Diageo, Macdonald Hotels and easyHotels as well as with several VC and PE backed business in the tech and healthcare space. Scott has extensive Board level experience as a CEO, NED and Chair - he is currently Chair of CSN Care Group, Kangaroo Self Storage and is a Trustee of the charity Paths for All. Scott is married with two children and spends his free time playing sport, travelling and hill walking in the Cairngorms.
